Grief is a natural response to many forms of loss, not just death. This course explores grief across the lifespan, including anticipatory, ambiguous, disenfranchised, and cumulative grief. Participants will examine how life changes such as retirement, illness, relationship shifts, identity changes, and unmet expectations can trigger grief. Through discussion and reflection, students will gain insight into grief and learn compassionate ways to understand and respond to it. This one day class is Monday, September 14.
